What Is A Guardian Advocate?

A Guardian Advocate is a person who has petitioned for a developmentally-disabled person, to be able to make the decisions for that developmentally-disabled person. The developmentally-disabled person may not be able to make all the decisions, based on their home and their residential setting or based on their filing of taxes or their financial criteria, so the Guardian Advocate helps them make these decisions for them. But the developmentally-disabled person does need to make some decision-making criteria.
